Red's final season as coach of the Boston Celtics was memorialized by the Touchdown Club of Columbus, Inc. with the presentation of this 9" tall decorative silver plated pitcher. Engraved on the side is the inscription "PRO COACH OF THE CENTURY - RED AUERBACH 1966 Presented by the Touchdown Club of Columbus, Inc.". The Touchdown Club's emblem appears at center. This prestigious declaration was made as Red retired from coaching after winning his unprecedented eighth consecutive NBA title. Includes a letter of provenance from the Auerbach estate.
