Mickey Mantle signed a lot of autographs through the heyday of the hobby from roughly 1980 to his passing in 1995, which is good because the demand for a Mickey Mantle single-signed ball still far outstripped his ability to crank them out. But then under the heading of much, much rarer comes balls where he signed his full name, Mickey Charles Mantle. Not sure what would move him to undertake the more elaborate autograph, but finding balls with the "Charles" added is plenty tough, even amid the vast number of single-signed Mantle balls that exist. This one is on an essentially flawless, unimprovable OAL Brown baseball, now nicely blessed with a spectacular autograph that PSA/DNA anoints with a NM-MT 8 in an adjoining letter of authenticity.
