Super rare 1963 PYX Magazine "THE BEATLES" signed on the cover by the entire band, very probably on August 8, 1963. Cover features a full color Dezo Hoffman photograph of the band wearing matching gray collarless suits. Each member has signed near his image. Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr have signed in near perfect 9/10 looking vintage black steel tip fountain pan ink. John Lennon has signed in beautiful 9/10 blue ball point pen. Included with the lot is a detailed June 25, 1996 2 page hand written letter from the sister of the person who originally obtained the autographs. In the letter she explains that her sister and a friend went to see the Beatles at the Candle Gardens, which was only a few miles from where they lived. They were able to hang around both before and after the concert and were able to get a number of things signed as well as talk to the performers. Her sister remembered Paul McCartney was especially nice, "but after a while John said if they weren't prepared to help load the van up then they had to piss off". The Beatles performed only once at the Candle Gardens, playing two shows on August 8, 1963. The 28 page English publication is in great condition and loaded with photos of the Beatles along with 4 extensive articles on each. One of the finest signed Beatles items one could possibly hope to own!
