Worn by the legendary receiver in his triumphant return to Minnesota following sorties to Oakland and New England, Moss made a splash with five receptions good for 55 yards in a 24-21 win over the Cowboys. This well-worn jersey traces to that historic game when one of the most prolific pass receivers in the team's history made a second try with the Vikings. The jersey in question shows simply enormous use, especially on the front where significant dirt and collision marks can be seen directly on his No. 84. All elements of the jersey appear to be problem-free; the tails of this shirt are hemmed straight across the bottom with an elastic hem and no manufacturer’s tags remaining. Inside the rear collar is a white strip tag with “08-46 L”. Player number 84 appears on the front, back and on both shoulders in white tackle twill with a yellow embroidered border. Moss appears across the back in white tackle twill on and purple nameplate. The sleeves are custom with an elastic spandex hem and each feature the Reebok logo patch. At the V-neck is the “NFL Equipment” logo shield with adjacent “VIKINGS” embroidered. At the left chest is the team “50 Year” patch. At the rear collar is the team “Viking” patch.
