The New York Yankees have won 27 World Series championships and 40 American League pennants. This lot includes a pair of signed commemorative bats hailing the Yankees’ legacy. The first bat is a 34” long “Cooperstown Bat” numbered 14 of 61 that celebrates the 40th Anniversary of the Yankees 1961 WS Championship and, more specifically, the team’s starting infield of Bill “Moose” Skowron at first base, Bobby Richardson at second, Tony Kubek at shortstop and Clete Boyer at third. All four players have signed the barrel of the specially engraved bat in blue Sharpie. The second bat, a special 34” Louisville Slugger Hillerich & Bradsby, is a limited edition (71/100) that is commemorating the “Yankees of the 1950’s Reunion” that was held from June 5-7, 1998, in Uniondale, New York. Nineteen Yankee legends of the past signed the bat in varying degrees of blue felt-tip and regular markers. Notable signatures on the bat include: Clete Boyer, Bobby Richardson, Bill “Moose” Skowron, Art Ditman, Jim Blanchard, Gil McDougald, Bob Cerv and Johnny Sain. All autographs are strong and would likely rate 8-9/10. A great collection of Yankee signatures on one bat!

Includes Letter of Authenticity from the Skowron Family.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
