Two more iconic figures from their respective teams would be hard to find than Ted Williams of the Boston Red Sox and Mickey Mantle of the New York Yankees. The late Baseball Hall of Famers clubbed 1,057 home runs between them and both won multiple American League MVP awards. This lot features a pair of single-signed Official American League (Brown) baseballs from the two legends of the game. The autographed baseballs, which come from their time spent as exclusive spokesmen for the Upper Deck Company, are signed perfectly across their respective sweet spots in blue ink. The Williams baseball shows some spot toning throughout while the Mantle version remains largely snow white. Both baseballs come packaged inside their original Upper Deck Authenticated (UDA) green felt pouches inside UDA’s original red, green and tan baseball boxes.
