What a gift to spectators and the press this fight would turn out to be. Ali won the fight by a unanimous decision after a display of unmatched boxing skill and a complete beat down of Ernie Terrell. During the fight in which Ali was  brutalizing Terrell, Ali could be heard taunting his opponent, "Uncle Tom! What's my Name! Uncle Tom! What's My Name!" Prior to the fight Terrell had angered Ali upon calling him Cassius Clay. Big mistake.

Featured is a pair of pre-fight press passes from the unforgettable event on February 6, 1967. Each press pass is uniquely different than the other. The first is a 2.5x4.25" white pass that features the Astrodome and "Pre-Fight Press Pass Ali-Terrell February 6, 1967" in orange print. "No. 1278" is stamped in blue on the left and the pass is admitting the owner of the pass to "Terrell's Dressing Room" which is handwritten in black sharpie. The pass presents GD and has creases and some toning. "Terrell Corner" is written on the reverse in blue pen. The second pass measures 2x3" and is on orange cardstock. There are no markings of any kind on this PR condtion pass. All lettering is printed in black atop the orange cardstock.
