This photo pairing commemorates arguably the two most iconic feats in World Series history. First, we have a framed 8” by 10” photo of Bobby Thomson’s “Shot heard Round the World” autographed by Thomson and his vanquished nemesis Ralph Branca. Both signatures are in blue felt tip pen and a date notation “Oct. 3, 1951” appears below Thomson’s signature in black.
The second photo captures the triumphant culmination of Don Larsen’s Perfect Game in the 1956 World Series. The 8” by 10” photo is autographed by Larsen and his battery mate Yogi Berra in perfect blue sharpie. Both photos are in apparent NM condition and are matted and framed. The latter photo also includes a placard with titling and limited edition number “6/1000.”
