The NFL’s 2008 Pro Bowl was played on Feb. 10 at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii. In yet another high-scoring affair, the NFC squad, coached by Green Bay’s Mike McCarthy, beat the AFC contingent, coached by San Diego’s Norv Turner, 42-30. When all the dust had settled, NFC running back Adrian Peterson was named the game’s MVP, having rushed for 129 yards and two touchdowns. This lot includes Peterson’s game-issued and signed NFC Pro Bowl jersey from the event as well as a signed 2008 Pro Bowl stamped Wilson football. The 2008 Game Ready Reebok Pro Bowl jersey (size 52) was prepared for use by Peterson who has signed the back #2 (of No. 28) in blue sharpie. This jersey is EXTREMELY rare as only a few were made for each player as evident by the customized tagging, ribbed sleeve cuffs and size 52 with 4 inches of added L.B. (Length to Body) tag on the lower left front tail. The red, white and blue jersey includes embroidered Vikings patches on both sleeves as well as the “NFL 2008 Pro Bowl” patch on the front and back of the jersey. His nameplate “A. Peterson” is sewn across the back of the shoulders. The NFL 2008 Pro Bowl emblazoned Wilson Football includes Peterson’s signature in silver on the bottom panel. The signatures are strong and both rate 9/10. Style-matching photos of 2008 Pro Bowl jersey attached.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
