This lot features a pair of multi-signed baseballs, one from 11 members of the ever-expanding “500 Home Run Club” and the other one from nine members of the ultra-exclusive “300 Wins Club.” The sluggers’ Official National League (White) baseball has been signed in different shades of blue ink by the following Hall of Famers: the late Eddie Mathews, Ted Williams, Ernie Banks, Mickey Mantle and Harmon Killebrew, along with Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Willie McCovey, Mike Schmidt, Frank Robinson and Reggie Jackson, the latter landing on the sweet spot.
The hurlers’ official American League (Brown) baseball, meanwhile, includes the signatures of the following flame-throwers: the late Early Wynn and Warren Spahn, along with Don Sutton, Phil Niekro, Gaylord Perry, Tom Seaver, Nolan Ryan and Steve Carlton. Each of their signatures also appears in different shade of blue ink with Ryan’s autograph gracing the sweet spot.
