The Brazilian Football Confederation has been around for 105 glorious years and has had tons of success on the global stage throughout it's existence.  To date, they've achieved 5 World Cup Titles, 4 Confederations cups, a whopping 9 Copa America/South American Championships and 2 Panamerican Championships. With some of the world's best players such as Pele, Ronaldo, Romario, Zico and more recently, Neymar, the international side has produced some of the most exciting football the world has ever seen.
Featured here is an immaculate pair of Brazil Football Confederation (CBF) medals commemorating the 1994 FIFA World Championship team. The first weighs 1.9oz. and hangs from a green and yellow ribbon. The gold colored exemplar features a green, yellow and navy CBF crest on the front with "BRASIL BENEMERITO" (BRAZIL BENEFACTOR) elevated just below. The years that represent the four World Cup titles to date, 1958, 1962, 1970 and 1994 are elevated at the bottom of the medal. The obverse features an elevated image of the FIFA World Cup trophy. This example presents in NM-MT condition. Does not have original presentation case.
The second, much heavier medal at 2.3oz. is silver and presents in NM-MT condition. The front features a green, yellow and navy CBF crest front and center with four silver stars elevated just above. Elevated text fills out the perimeter, "CONFEDERACAO BRASILEIRA DE FUTEBOL" and "8-6-1914 BRASIL." The obverse displays an elevated image of the FIFA World Cup trophy. Comes with original presentation case.
Each includes LOA from Brazil National Team (CBF) Technical Coordinator, who is also the nephew of former CBF President Ricardo Teixeira.
