This pair of tickets would have admitted the bearers to Game 3 of the 1964 World Series. The Yankees were hosting the Cardinals that October 10 afternoon and besides being dramatic 5-hit pitching by Yankees ace Jim Bouton, the game was significant in that Mickey Mantle hit his 16th World Series homer that not only won the game for New York but also broke Babe Ruth’s record for most post-season home runs. Both of these full Lower Stand tickets are graded PSA VG-EX 4 and show light toning throughout. A nice matching pair of full tickets from a momentous moment in Mickey Mantle’s career.
