The Reds boasted an all-star pitching staff consisting of Bucky Walters, Paul Derringer and Johnny “Double No-Hitter” Vander Meer with Junior Thompson and Joe Beggs out of the bullpen. The Tigers lineup featured three Hall of Fame sluggers: Hank Greenberg, Earl Averill and Charlie Gehringer with heavy hitters Rudy York, Pete Fox and Barney McCosky backing them up.

The Bill McKechnie has been deemed a clubhouse signature. The ball shows some wear and toning to the surface but the black fountain pen signatures are all legible. Comes with a lidless Spalding ball box.
