Pair of 7" by 9" original wire photos of the great Joe DiMaggio offered here. The first, an AP press photo dated Oct. 22, 1938, shows Joltin' Joe leaning over a typewriter at his Fish Grotto restaurant in San Francisco. It includes a long wire caption attached to the back. The second is of Joe and his first wife, actress Dorothy Arnold, enjoying a day at the beach in St. Petersburg, FL, most likely taken during Spring Training for the Yankees star. The back is stamped by ACME Newspictures and dated 2/18/42. Both photos are complete without holes or tears in EX condition, with minor creasing and some wear and aging around the edges.
