The 2013 St. Louis Cardinals went 95-67 to take the NL Central division by three games. They knocked off the Pirates in the NLDS before taking care of the L.A. Dodgers in six games to win the pennant. In the World Series, the Redbirds fell to the Boston Red Sox 4-games-to-2. Led that season by a balanced, proficient offense that saw five guys bat .296 or better and a formidable starting staff fronted by Cy Young runner-up Adam Wainwright, Cards players and staff members earned themselves some nice looking National League Championship rings for their efforts.

In the vein of paying tribute to the great history of the franchise, this particular ring made of lovely 14-karat white gold was presented to one of its greatest and most beloved players, Ozzie Smith. Rubies form the logo "StL" on the face, set against a background of genuine diamonds. "National League Champions  Cardinals" surrounds the perimeter in raised lettering. The left shank displays the team logo depiction of a St. Louis road jersey between “OZZIE SMITH” and his iconic No. "1"; while the right shank completes the exterior design with, "2013 -  97 wins - 19th NL pennant." The interior features an honorary Stan Musial memorial design with his name and No. 6. Stan The Man passed away in January of 2013. Also inside the band is the "Jostens 14K" engraving. The size 11 ring weighs 50 grams and exhibits light wear overall. This is arguably the most coveted example of this ring to own, coming in the same format as active players received. It comes directly from The Wizard's collection with an LOA signed by Ozzie Smith.
