This attractive ring was presented to Oscar Robertson by the National Association of Basketball Coaches in 1985 on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of his 1960 University of Cincinnati Bearcats winning the Midwest Region and advancing to the Final Four for the second straight year. The ring features a blue stone surrounded by “NABC HONOREE” in raised letters. The left shank has “O. ROBERTSON” and “U OF CINCINNATI” engraved on ribbons with a NABC 50th Anniversary logo at center. The right shank contains a ribbon with “1960-1985” and “3-30-85” along with an NABC logo and basketball. The inside contains a “LGB QP” hallmark denoting maker Balfour and the metal composition. The size 13 ring (24g) shows some wear but still presents beautifully. Includes LOA from Oscar Robertson.

PLEASE NOTE: Oscar will donate a portion of his auction proceeds to the Jerome Lipper Multiple Myeloma Center and LeBow Institute for Myeloma Therapeutics at Dana Farber. This renowned cancer treatment center “provides comprehensive care to patients with multiple myeloma, including promising new therapies through clinical trials rooted in an approach that brings laboratory discoveries quickly to the clinical setting (https://www.dana-farber.org/multiple-myeloma-program).
