1913 New York Giants team photograph by George Grantham Bain. Crisp sepia tone 5" by 7" image of the NL Champion Giants posed in uniform seated and standing on the field at the Polo Grounds. Among those pictured are Mathewson, Thorpe, McGraw, Merkle, Marquard, and Groh. Image retains nearly flawless contrast with Bain's embossed stamp visible in the lower left corner. Subtle condition faults include light creases across the bottom two corners, modest corner wear and two small border tears. Reverse shows multiple Culver Studios stamps including Culver "Deaccessioned" stamp over a modern inventory label. Important early Bain photo in VG-EX condition overall.
