The Los Angeles Dodgers were always ahead of the their time promoting their team and marketing their players in fan-friendly ways. The standard issue Topps baseball cards were not enough, and the Dodgers organization either issued or authorized colorful sets like this. And it doesn't hurt that many of the Dodgers players of the era were baseball icons. The cover is not marked and all 12 postcards remain attached.
