Five Los Angeles County supervisors in 1954 signed this nifty proclamation commending Casey Stengel for his accomplishments on the baseball diamond. The ornate 12-by-16-inch proclamation has been mounted and laminated to a board upping its measurements to 14-by-18 inches and is seemingly in as pristine condition as the day it was handed to him nearly 60 years ago. Also includes an EX-MT condition 8-by-10 photograph showing Casey holding the plaque. Worth noting; the final resolution of the proclamation includes verbiage resolving that Casey should be "given an engrossed copy of this resolution." That must have made him smile, and he probably couldn't have said it any better himself.

Comes with a Letter of Authentcity from the Stengel Estate.
