Notre Dame football has had so many iconic games and moments over the generations, but even casual fans know about the "Rudy game", which inspired the beloved sports film "RUDY." When the "all-time great" sports films are listed "RUDY" is always in the mix.
The game took place Saturday November 8, 1975, when Georgia Tech visited Notre Dame Stadium to play The Fighting Irish, a game ND won 24 to 3 and walk-on Rudy fulfilled his dream and got some playing time!
Presented here is a colorful ticket stub from the game, a classic image of Notre Dame Stadium. Our hero Rudy Ruettiger has artfully autographed the ticket in bold blue marker on a "sweet spot" for excellent visibility.
PSA has dual graded the ticket stub (Authentic) and deemed Rudy's penmanship a perfect 10. There is only one dual-graded example rated higher than this. Wow!
