How about a rare ticket stub from the very first home game of one of the pro basketball's most beloved and followed franchises?

That's right, presented here is the one and only PSA graded example, a 1 of 1, from the New York Knickerbockers home debut at Madison Square Garden from November 11, 1946, The Knicks did battle with the Chicago Stags in BAA (Basketball Association of America) action, which would merge with the rival NBL (National Basketball League) into the NBA we know and love today.

For those of you scoring at home, the Stags edged the home team 78-68 despite 19 points from Sonny Hertzberg. Mickey Rottner paced Chicago with 20 points.
