The 1955 USC Trojans football team, coached by Jess Hill, finished their season with a 6-4 overall record and a national ranking of No. 13. They saved their best for last as their biggest win of the season occurred in their final game of the year against Notre Dame. On Nov. 26, playing at home inside the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, the Trojans walloped the Fighting Irish, 42-20. This lot includes an official Rawlings game-used football from that contest that’s been signed in black ink on one panel by Coach Hill, USC Athletic Director Bill Hunter and five members of Hill’s coaching staff including Nick Pappas, Bill Fisk and Don Clark. Though the bottom of the football has been discolored from how it was displayed over the years, the signatures are all in remarkably good condition.

Includes Letter of Provenance from the Newport Sports Museum.

Autographs are pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
