The late Muhammad Ali is considered one of the greatest heavyweights in
boxing’s rich history. A controversial and polarizing figure early in
his career, Ali is widely regarded today for the skills he displayed in
the ring plus the values he exemplified outside of it: religious
freedom, racial justice and the triumph of principle over expedience.
He’s one of the most recognized sports figures of the past 100 years and
was crowned "Sportsman of the Century" by Sports Illustrated and
"Sports Personality of the Century" by the BBC.
Offered here is a
Ali-autographed on-site boxing program from one of the most
controversial fights of Ali’s career, his September 26, 1976, unanimous
decision victory over heavyweight rival Ken Norton in a bout held at
Yankee Stadium. It was their third and final bout. The program measures
8.5" x 11" and was signed by Ali with a blue marker in the early ‘90s
during a private signing with his longtime marketing agent, Harlan
Werner. The 41-year-old, 48-page program is in immaculate condition.
Included is a high quality copy of Werner’s LOA and a full LOA from JSA. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
