Nice group of four (4) college football game used helmets
from programs now part of the Mountain West Conference. The group comes
from the museum collection at the San Diego Hall
of Champions, which sourced many directly from the annual Holiday Bowl game played locally, and includes the following.
University of Wyoming Cowboys: Air helmet with mask clips dated "95" and 1995 re-certified sticker inside. #1 decal on back; player unknown. Solid game use evident. Chinstrap intact.
University of Hawaii Rainbow Warriors: Air helmet with undated warranty sticker inside interior padding. Clips not dated either. "86D" Dymo label affixed inside would seem to indicate player #86. Shows adequate game use.
Colorado State University Rams: First one has mask clips dated "97" and 1997 re-certified sticker inside. SDHOC records say
it was used in 1997 Holiday Bowl. Chinstrap intact. Second one has clips dated "06" and 2006 re-certified
sticker. #2 decal on back (LB Jon Radford) and #56 decal (player ?) inside. Both are Riddell examples and show solid game use.
This lot also includes a replica commemorative Mountain West Conference helmet made by Schutt for display purposes.
Letter of provenance from San Diego Hall of Champions.
