Teemu Selanne from Helsinki, Finland, is a recently retired NHL star who played right wing for the Anaheim Ducks for 15 of his 23 NHL seasons. He is the highest scoring Finn in NHL history, and one of the highest overall; he retired this year ranked 11th all-time with 684 goals and 15th with 1,457 points. He holds numerous team scoring records for both the Winnipeg/Arizona and Anaheim franchises. This lot includes one of Selanne’s Anaheim Mighty Ducks game-worn JOFA helmets from the mid-‘90s with both visor and chinstrap intact. From 1995-96 through the 2000-01 seasons Selanne played for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim before returning to the team in 2005-06 where he finished out his career as a Duck. The Ducks branded helmet (366SR 6 3/4 - 7 3/8) shows ample game use with multiple scuff marks and scrapes throughout and sports a pair of Ducks logos on either side. Selanne’s uniform No. 8 is centered perfectly in the rear of the helmet.
