In the annals of baseball lore, three more popular and beloved ballplayers than Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio and Ted Williams would be hard to find. Mantle and DiMaggio were two of the best hitters the New York Yankees ever produced, while Williams was a six-time American League batting champ and remains the last big leaguer to ever crack the .400 mark (.406 in ’41). This lot includes an 11” high by 14” wide sepia-toned back-and-white photo showing all three player posing side by side with bats over their shoulders. The three Hall of Famers all signed the photo using three different thicknesses of blue felt-tip markers. The photo is nicely positioned inside an antique frame that measures 22” wide by 19” high. A superb collection of authentic signatures from three of baseball’s best hitters ever.
