Here’s a picturesque shot of late New York Yankees great Mickey Mantle at the plate. Sporting his road grays, Mantle is bracing himself for an incoming fastball, ready to launch it over the right field wall. This full color 16" by 20" photo was captured by noted Sports Illustrated photographer Neil Leifer and used by Upper Deck Authenticated (UDA) in a series of
limited edition and unnumbered runs. The striking image has been signed by the Hall of Famer with a perfect looking black felt tip with a 4.5" long signature centered directly below the photo. Leifer, the photographer, also signed the print in the bottom left-hand corner. Now framed and double-matted, the final presentation piece measures 21.5” wide by 29” tall.
