The late Mickey Mantle owned New York from his arrival in pinstripes in 1951 to his retirement from baseball following the ’68 season. “The Mick,” as he was known, launched a total of 536 round-trippers during his illustrious career and helped the Bronx Bombers win 12 American League pennants and seven World Series titles. This lot features a snow white Official American League (Brown) baseball that Mantle signed across the sweet spot in beautiful blue ink. A terrific signature as always, this one would rate 9/10 in our book.
