Beautiful large format lithograph created by Burt Silverman has been majestically signed by Mickey Mantle in bold blue Sharpie across his image (grading a perfect "10"). This impressive image is famous as the signature artwork representing Mickey Mantle's Restaurant. This artwork was created specifically to appear on the cover of the menus at Mickey Mantle's Restaurant located on Central Park South. Mantle specially commissioned this artwork from Silverman in 1988 for use at Mantle's. The original painting hung there for many years as well. In addition to using it as the cover image for its menus, the restaurant also controlled the exclusive distribution rights to signed lithographs such as this. This is one of the most attractive and famous images of Mantle ever rendered and it is ideal for display. The litho (25.5 x 37.25 inches) is in NM condition and comes rolled in its original shipping tube with Mantle's Restaurant mailing label addressed to Moose Skowron.
