Offered in this lot is an incredible Mickey Mantle 8"x10" Ray Gallo framed photograph dated to September 16th, 1956 in Boston, Massachusetts. The iconic image was taken during one of Mickey Mantle's Triple Crown years and has been accepted into the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. Mick even claimed this photo as "the greatest photograph I've ever seen of myself" to Gallo. The photo was originally taken in black and white and then painted by Yvette Andreoni. "The Mick" autographed the photo in silver permanent marker for excellent eye appeal and inscribed "T.C. 1956" below. The beautiful wood frame measures approximately 22"x17" in size and includes a Yankees team logo in the matting. A very highly sought-after piece that would fit well in any baseball collection. A full letter of authenticity by JSA accompanies the piece for the Mantle autograph (Cert. #: B14106). A full Beckett Authentication Services LOA is also accompanied with the frame.
