October 25, 1924 Mickey Cochrane signed copy sent to Portland Pacific Coast League owner Thomas L. Turner telling him he has come to terms to play with the American Base Ball Club of Philadelphia for a salary of $4,500 to play for the upcoming season of 1925 "providing Portland Club makes deal with Philadelphia Athletics". Written in below in pencil is the following "we agree to pay G. Cochrane and wife expenses to Boston. J. D. Shibe". Strong 8-9/10 black ink Gordon S. "Mickey" Cochrane signature. Copy has also been signed by Thomas L. Turner for Portland and John D. Shibe for Philadelphia. Great piece of baseball history regarding Cochrane's move from the Pacific Coast League to the majors.Thin paper copy has some creasing but displays very well.
