Nice condition inscribed copy of Mickey Cochrane's 1939 book - Baseball The Fan's Game. Book features numerous black and white photos of great players of the day - Walter Johnson, Bob Feller, Lefty Gomez, Gehrig, Greenberg, Foxx, Hornsby, DiMaggio, Cobb "still the greatest of them all"mack, McCarty, Ruth, and Gehringer along with other Tiger teammates. Inside front cover is inscribed "To my friend Mr. Butterworth Mickey Cochrane" in 8-9/10 looking vintage black ink. Book in excellent condition with spine still sound. Includes a letter of provenance from the Cochrane estate.
