A wonderful Philadelphia Eagles game-worn throwback helmet from the opening weekend of the 2010 season. This green Riddell helmet was worn by Michael Vick in the Eagles' 27-20 home loss to the Green Bay Packers on September 12, 2010. The Eagles wore 1960 Kelly Green throwback jerseys, helmets and pants on opening day to honor the 50th anniversary of the 1960 Championship team that defeated the Packers 17-13 on December 26, 1960 to capture the title. Vick relieved incumbent starting QB Kevin Kolb in the 2nd half and led an Eagles comeback that fell a touchdown short as he threw for 175 yards and a TD while rushing for 103, a patented Michael Vick stat line. He would be named the starter the following week for the rest of the season and beyond.

The helmet shows moderate game use evident from the marks on each side just above the earholes and a small gash at the bottom of the facemask. One of the two silver Eagles wing decals is coming apart at the top end. Inside the helmet on the left are two Riddell stickers on the left: "JUL-2010" for year made and "L" for size. On the inside right is Vick's #7 sticker next to the Riddell warning label. Aside from the visible game wear, all elements of the helmet seem to be in excellent, largely as-issued and problem-free condition.

Comes with COA from the MeiGray Group and an LOA from Philadelphia Eagles CEO Jeffrey Lurie.
