From Mel Ott's personal collection comes this variety of 14 personal
identification items. Each has his name printed or stamped, but none have his
actual autograph. Ott died in 1958 from injuries suffered in a car accident
when he was just 49 years old. Most of these items are dated close to his
death; one is post-dated meaning he must have just received it before his tragic
accident. The list includes:
(2) Detroit Tigers United Airlines suitcase tags
(2) Southern Association of Baseball Clubs annual season passes, 1955 and
1958.
(4) Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels membership cards, 1956-1959.

Room” and the other for general admission.
