Maxie Baughan was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles 20th overall in the second round of the 1960 NFL draft to help fill their gap at the right linebacker position. Little did they know that Maxie Baughan was the perfect fit, who would come to have a Pro Bowl season and help Philadelphia become the 1960 World Champions (their 3rd NFL Championship) with his amazing play on the field. At the young age of 22, Baughan was able to accomplish what every football player dreams of, becoming a national champion.

Offered in this lot are Maxie Baughan’s World Champion Cufflinks from his rookie and championship season with the Philadelphia Eagles. The bullet-backed cufflinks read “Philadelphia Eagles”, “1960”, and “World Pro Champions” on the face of football-shaped sterling silver. The center of the cufflinks highlight the “Philadelphia Maneto”, which is the Philadelphia City Seal. The rear of one cufflink is engraved with “B. BAUGHAN” denoting the ownership of the jewelry. The cufflinks appear in excellent condition, showing little to no signs of wear and tear and are fully functional. A great piece of memorabilia from the 1960 NFL Championship victory over the Green Bay Packers, 17-13.
