Consider that the November 9, 1986 photo was taken about the time the iconic 1986 Fleer basketball card set, with the famed Jordan “rookie” as its centerpiece, was hitting store shelves.
MJ is shown here early in the third season of his pro career, adorned in his road Chicago Bulls uniform bringing the ball up the court. The photo does a wonderful job capturing the essence of Michael’s unmatched competitiveness, athleticism and leadership. Stunning image of this basketball and cultural icon!
