Fresh to the hobby is this PSA/DNA authenticated Type I VERY EARLY in his NBA career game-action photo of basketball icon Michael Jordan. Michael is pictured against the Denver Nuggets at McNichols Arena November 1, 1984.
It was just the 5th game of his rookie season and the basketball world had not yet caught on to what was ahead with the athletic #23 out of North Carolina. Another future Hall of Famer, Denver's Alex English, is battling Jordan under the hoop in this image.
It is so early in Jordan's career that he is wearing more conventional Nike sneakers, not the custom "Air Jordan" brand that was to come and reshape the athletic footwear and sports marketing industries. This particular night Michael had 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the Bulls loss to Denver.
