Presented here is an impressive, limited-edition (19/250) cigar humidor, custom crafted using an actual hardwood basketball floor piece from New York’s Madison Square Garden – upon which the Knicks had won two NBA World Championships in 1970 and 1973.
Having #19 in the limited-edition sequence is a lucky Knicks number, as it is the jersey # of Willis Reed, who was a cornerstone of the Knicks franchise and those two titles! This humidor was custom made by the famous New York tobacco shop Nat Sherman and is marked and numbered on a plaque mounted on the interior wall. The humidor is like new, with internal humidity and temperature gauges are present, as well as a lock and key.
Nat Sherman is the brand name for a line of handmade cigars and luxury cigarettes. The company, which began as a retail tobacconist, continued to operate a flagship retail shop, known as the "Nat Sherman Townhouse," located on 42nd Street, off Fifth Avenue, in New York City from 1930 to 2020.
