For the Dodgers historian and collector that has seen everything, then we just may have something new for your eyes!

Taken June 4. 1961 at “Camera Day” at the L.A. Coliseum sixty years ago by a fan, presented here are (28) different images of Dodgers players (Koufax, Hodges, Snider, Wills, Gilliam, Roseboro, F. Howard, etc.), coaches (Alston) and legends (Don Newcombe, Pee Wee Reese) that were on hand that day.

Along with posed and group images, there are also a couple of distant batting practice and game-action shots, as the Dodgers battled the Pittsburgh Pirates that day. There are several images which show the unique configuration of the L.A. Coliseum for Dodgers baseball in the years before Dodger Stadium/Chavez Ravine was completed.

We assume that these images have not been publicly seen until now.
