Ray Allen has an extensive resume with several teams and multiple playoff runs and his accolades include two championship rings. Allen’s talents transcended the basketball court when he acted alongside Denzel Washington in Spike Lee’s 1998 film, He Got Game, and played the role of Jesus Shuttlesworth, a rising high school superstar. After 5 years and one ring in Boston, Allen accepted a three-year deal with the Miami Heat where he went on to win one more championship with LeBron James. During that series against the San Antonio Spurs, Allen famously hit a clutch corner 3-pointer to send the game into overtime and ultimately led to the Heat’s second title. Ray Allen will go down as one of the best 3-point shooters to ever grace the game of basketball, and his legacy will be remembered for many generations to come.
Offered in this lot is a pair of game worn and dual-signed Air Jordan Ray Allen signature model basketball shoes from the 2009-10 NBA Season. The shoes have been photo-matched by Resolution Photomatching to two pre-season games on October 7, 2010, as well as October 10, 2010, when Allen was a member of the Boston Celtics. The size 14 shoes feature an autograph in bold, silver marker on each toe portion providing excellent eye appeal for a display piece. The uniquely designed jordans are highlighted by a “paint splatter” design on the midsole and Celtic green secondary colors to really make the shoes pop. The top tongue portion features a Ray Allen Logo. While the shoes show definite signs of game use, they remain in excellent condition. The 2010-11 NBA season would be the last All-Star appearance for Ray Allen’s decorated NBA career (10 total). The Boston Celtics made it to the Eastern Conference Semifinals before falling short to the Miami Heat.
