The 1987 St. Louis Cardinals had an excellent season, finishing first in their division with a 95-67 record. They took on the San Francisco Giants in the NLCS and were victorious after a hard-fought Game 7. The Cardinals took a 3-2 lead in the World Series only to lose the last two games to the Minnesota Twins. Offered here is an excellent 1987 National League Championship ring presented to Marty Mason. The ring features a white stone at the center of the face surrounded by three smaller red stones. The text “National League Champions”, “1987”, and “St. Louis Cardinals” can also be seen on the face denoting its importance. The left shank reads “Mason” and highlights the Cardinals logo while the right shank features the attendance “3,072,122” as well as Busch Stadium and “15th World Series St. Louis Cardinals.” The inside of the ring is stamped with “CTO A-1.” The ring is sized 9.5 and weighs in at 38 grams.
