There's no comparison to the sounds and recordings of Bruce Springsteen that captured the mood of the country in the 1970's, 80's and 90's. Known for his marathon concerts in front of packed stadiums, Springsteen captivated and embraced music lovers with his roars and ballads alongside his uber-talented E-Street band. By the time the 1980's rolled around, "The Boss" had shifted the mood of his once poetic and wide-ranging lyrics toward a more narrow criticism of American society, in particular the way Vietnam vets were treated during their return home from the war. In 1984, Springsteen released "Born in the USA" which became his most commercially successful and widely-acclaimed album of his career.
Featured in this lot is a "Born in the USA" vinyl record and tour program each signed by The Boss. The program depicts a guitar-strumming Springsteen in front of an American flag backdrop. Instead of 50 stars in the upper left corner of the flag, Bruce's program features "Born in the USA Tour." The exceptionally preserved vinyl record features the back side of Springsteen wearing jeans and a white t-shirt with "Bruce Springsteen Born in the USA" across the top. The program is signed in 9/10 black Sharpie, while the record is slightly smeared in 7-8/10 black marker. The program presents in EX-MT with some small creases along the binding and a minor corner imperfection on the bottom right front. The vinyl presents essentially MINT with no condition issues. Includes two full LOAs from JSA (Z6646 & Z66462) for each autograph.
