Featured here is a check drawn from the Green Bay Packers account signed by both Vince Lombardi and former Green Bay Mayor and Packers President Dominic Olejniczak in sharp blue balloint. It is encapsulated and graded PSA/DNA MINT 9. The date on the check "8/6/59" would have been seven months after the legendary coach was hired. Coach Lombardi would lead the Packers that year to their first winning season since 1947. From 1959 to '67, Lombardi never had a losing season with the Pack. His teams won three NFL Championships and the first two Super Bowls played. In 1970, the NFL named the trophy presented to the Super Bowl winning team in his honor. This check is an incredible early gridiron keepsake commemorating two men who played critical roles turning the small city of Green Bay into "Titletown."
