The Yankees finished the regular season with a 103-59 record and made their way through the playoffs to meet the Philadelphia Phillies in the World Series. The Yankees would win the series after six games and usher in their new stadium with a World Series Championship. Jeter had an exceptionally impressive year, breaking the all-time hit record for the Yankees franchise, passing up Lou Gehrig. Jeter also won a Silver Slugger Award, a Gold Glove Award, and the Hank Aaron Award for his efforts in the 2009 season. Each photo is autographed in the upper right-hand corner in a bold, clean silver permanent marker. Jeter sports a World Series Champions hat while holding the World Series trophy with a smile on his face knowing that another World Series season was complete for the Yankees.
