Beautiful group of autographs from the Commerce Comet, Mickey Mantle. This lot features four signatures on (2) first day covers, (1) 1953 Dormand postcard and (1) 4x5 player-pack photograph.
Both First Day Covers are in crisp 8-9/10 blue pen. The first FDC is dated Oct. 5, 1985, the second from August 18, 1989. Both FDC examples present NM-MT and have bright colors and impeccably preserved corners.
The rare 1953 Dormand postcard features a 6-7/10 auto in blue sharpie. The previous owner wrote in cursive above the Mantle auto (Mickey Mantle). The postcard boasts bright color and a crystal clear image of the Mick posing with his baseball bat. Save for a little bit of wear on both the top and bottom right corners, this example is in EX-MT+ condition in our opinion.
Finally, we have the 4x5 player-pack photograph featuring a 8-9/10 Mantle auto in bold blue sharpie. The black and white photo presents in NM-MT+ in our opinion, with razor sharp corners and no blemishes throughout.
