This lot features a total of 78 tobacco cards from the famous 1909-11 T206 White Border card set. All come with Sweet Caporal brand backs. There are 11 different Hall of Famers with five SGC graded: Bobby Wallace SGC FR 1.5, Vic Willis (Throwing) SGC VG 3, Frank Chance (Portrait, Yellow Background) SGC VG+ 3.5, Miller Huggins (Hands at Mouth) SGC VG-EX+ 4.5, and Mordecai Brown (Portrait) SGC VG-EX+ 4.5. The other Hall of Famer cards represented in ungraded form are: Chief Bender VG, Rube Marquard AUTH (paper loss on front, stained on back), Joe Tinker PR, Johnny Evers VG, Frank Chance (Portrait, Red Background) PR, Audie Joss VG, John McGraw AUTH (stained and miscut), Vic Willis (Portrait, Red Background) PR (creasing and slight paper loss on front). The rest of the cards fall mostly in the GD to VG-EX range. A great lot for the collector looking to start the daunting task of building "The Monster" T206 card set.
