The 1959 Topps set is anchored by the great Bob Gibson's rookie card and is loaded with other key Hall of Famers. The high-number series (507-572) have the lowest print run of all the series in '59 Topps. While the low-number cards (#1-110) are a bit easier to find, these cards were also issued in smaller quantities, putting a premium on key names like Mickey Mantle and Ford C. Frick, the MLB Commissioner at the time. It's Frick's first issued card (hence, his rookie) with the added boost of being card #1 in the set. Other rookies worth noting are Hall of Fame manager Sparky Anderson and Norm Cash.

This incredible complete set is ranked #15 on the current PSA registry with an 8.06 GPA and set rating. Every card has been graded NM-MT 8 or better by PSA, including Mantle (#10) and Gibson (#514). Six cards are the highest graded examples available in the hobby (#'s 185, 303, 329, 397, 512, 541). Warren Spahn ("Born in 1921") comes in at PSA MINT 9, with only one other card #40 in existence rated higher! 541 of the 572 cards in this complete set are graded PSA NM-MT 8. Here's the rest of the breakown.
