Scarce pairing of athlete's badges from the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games presented here. Each made of bronze, 41x46 mm, with pierced design of the Bradenberg Gate and Olympic rings. Swimmer's badge is numbered "4191" with navy blue ribbon labeled "Schwimmen" [Swimming]. Ribbon is perfectly intact with light staining near top. Condition EX-MT overall. Rower's badge is numbered "4731" with yellow ribbon labeled "Rudern" [Rowing]. Ribbon is intact with some fraying at bottom. Condition EX overall. Brooch backs both intact with maker hallmarked on reverse.
