David Beckham continues to be one of the most recognized sports figures in the world even six years after retiring from professional football. His championship pedigree as a player came during the bulk of his prime playing years for Manchester United and Real Madrid -- two of the world's premier clubs.  He continued to cement his legacy when he signed a massive nine-figure contract (5 years, $250 million) with the LA Galaxy in 2007. It was a ground-breaking moment for the sport at home and abroad. Not since the mid-1970s when Pele was lured to the once prominent North American Soccer League to play for the New York Cosmos had American professional soccer seen such stardom. So it came as a bit of a surprise when in November of 2009 the Galaxy loaned the superstar to Italian powerhouse AC Milan. "Becks" would eventually toggle between playing for the Galaxy and AC Milan for parts of 2009 and 2010 where he tallied a total of 33 appearances and 2 goals for the Italian side.

Presented here is one of Beckham's AC Milan match worn jerseys their 2009-10 Serie A season. The white, long-sleeved Adidas jersey (size L) has a red and black collar and the same team color stripes running down the length of the sleeves. The club's large "bwin" sponsor logo appears across the front in black, with an embroidered "ACM 1899" club crest and single gold star on the left chest. Just below is "IL CLUB PIU TITOLATO AL MONDO" (The Most Titled Club in the World) in gold twill. The "LEGA CALCIO SERIE A" patch is on the right sleeve, with the club's 7-time UEFA Champions patch on the left sleeve. "A.C. Milan" is embroidered in gold twill below the back collar. The tag inside the collar reads, "FORZA MILAN" (Go Milan). "BECKHAM" is straight across the upper back with his number "32" below, both ironed-on in solid red. The jersey shows solid wear throughout; the "bwin" letters have puncture/contact marks and the black appears to be bleeding into the white fabric. The front and back numbers are also well-worn.

Includes LOA from the former Technical Coordinator of Real Madrid and the Brazil National Team (CBF), who is also the nephew of former CBF President Ricardo Teixeira.
