On November 27th, 2016. the San Diego Chargers ventured to NRG Stadium in the Lone Star state to battle the Houston Texans. The Chargers handed the Texans their fifth loss of the season with a 31-13 spanking thanks to Philip Rivers' 3 TD passes and a dominant defensive performance by Joey Bosa. The third overall pick in the 2016 draft pick out of Ohio State was virtually unblockable that day -- and pretty much the whole season -- with 7 tackles (2 for loss), a half sack and two QB hits. Despite sitting out the first four games over a contract dispute, Bosa was still able tally 10.5 sacks and 41 tackles to claim 2016 Defensive Rookie of the Year honors. His younger brother, Nick, appears to be on the same track this season for the 49ers.

Offered here is Joey Bosa’s white away San Diego Chargers game worn jersey pounded with use. The Nike tagging behind the collar indicates size "42" ("L-BK") and season "2016" with its unique Nike On Field manufacturing code. Bosa has signed and inscribed his number “99” on the back of the jersey with “Game Worn vs. Houston Thanksgiving [weekend] 2016” denoting the game in which it was worn. It can be easily photo-matched with distinctive attributes to Getty images #626820354 (paint transfers on his right upper shoulder) and #626138866 (blood stain on his right lower back). The jersey may have been laundered post-use as the dark red blood stain has faded to a light brown. Plenty of paint transfers and contact marks remain. Simply an awesome example of rough gridiron action from an unstoppable player who remains one of the best pass rushers in the NFL. The jersey has a Fanatics Authentic hologram (AA0004520) and comes with a team COA from the Chargers equipment manager. LOA from Beckett for autograph.
